Usage and scope

Read usage metrics at workspace, MCP server, and tool level.

The same event can appear in a workspace total, an MCP server view, and a tool breakdown. These are different views of the same activity, not additional calls.

Common dimensions

  • Workspace: all visible MCP servers in the MCP Owner Workspace.
  • MCP server: one connected upstream server.
  • Tool: one discovered capability within an MCP server.
  • Outcome: completed, payment-gated, or failed.

Interpret identity carefully

End-user reporting depends on how identity is configured for the connection and client. If verified identity is not available, use aggregate MCP and tool metrics rather than treating user counts as exact people.

Compare useful periods

When investigating change, compare equivalent time windows and account for:

  • A new wrapped endpoint rollout.
  • A tool rename or schema change.
  • A newly published or paused trigger.
  • An upstream outage or slower response time.

Use Activity for individual recent events and Analytics for broader patterns.
