Connect an MCP server
Add an upstream MCP endpoint to the MCP Owner Workspace.
From MCP Servers, choose Connect MCP.
Enter the connection
- Use a name your team will recognize.
- Enter the upstream Streamable HTTP MCP endpoint.
- Review the hostname before saving.
- Open the new MCP server and discover its tools.
Use a separate MCP server entry for each independently configured upstream endpoint. One Owner Workspace can contain more than one MCP server.
Handle access details safely
Enter credentials only in fields specifically designed for them. Do not place secrets in the display name, support messages, tool descriptions, or test inputs.
If the server requires an authentication method that the connection form does not offer, stop and contact support before sharing credentials.
