Countries and currencies
Understand why payment eligibility depends on more than a country list.
A Stripe account being available in a country does not guarantee that every Gooshi payment route, currency, or business model is eligible.
Availability depends on the combination of:
- The MCP Owner's connected account and country.
- The account's active Stripe capabilities.
- The charge currency.
- Gooshi's current platform configuration.
- Stripe and Gooshi policy for the route.
Gooshi shows the current account status during payment setup. If a required country or currency is not available, do not work around the restriction by using another owner's identity or payment account.
For confirmation before launch, contact Support with the MCP Owner country, intended charge currencies, and business model. Do not send bank details or identity documents in the request.
